I’m always experimenting with recipes to make them high protein, low carb, and delicious! Eating healthy doesn’t have to mean boring. This recipe is only 3 ingredients, and so easy to make!
You can customize the crackers with any seasoning or topping you may like!
I’m obsessed with my everything bagel seasoning currently! These crackers are crunchy, and nutrient dense, so you will fill up much quicker than empty carb crackers.
They will last for a week or two in Tupperware, or you can freeze them and defrost as needed. This recipe at this amount is 53 grams of protein & 1,374 calories. Serving size depends on daily caloric goals.
What you will need:
Parchment paper
Cookie sheet
Fork
Whisk
Spatula
Seasoning of choice
Rolling pin or replacement
Knife or pizza slicer
2 cups organic fine almond flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp of salt
Heat oven to 350 degrees

In a large mixing bowl add your almond flour and salt. Whisk for one minute to break down any lumps. Next, add your one egg into the center of the bowl, use the whisk to gently scramble the egg on top. Then use a non stick spatula to begin incorporating the egg into the almond flour fully. It will get crumbly looking. Then use your hands to make one dough ball. If the mixture is too wet, add some more almond flour, too dry, some olive oil in your hands to work with the dough.

Next transfer the dough ball to a big piece of parchment paper on a counter top. Use another piece of parchment paper on top. Use your rolling pin or whatever you can use in place of the rolling pin and slowly roll the dough out into an a thin layer of dough. There is no specific way the dough can be rolled out into a circle, square, or rectangle.
You can decide what shape you like your crackers to be whether Square, rectangle or even triangle! Cut the rolled out dough w a knife or pizza slicer into your cracker shape and size of choice.

After that, take your seasoning and sprinkle generously on top. Take your top parchment paper and put it back over the dough to gently Pat or roll in the seasoning. Otherwise it could just fall off when baking.
Take parchment off and use a knife, fork to gently lift each cracker onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Oven should be preheated to 350 degrees.

Take your fork and poke each cracker with it. The holes are important so it cooks evenly. Now the cracker tray can be placed in the oven for 8-10 min. Keep a close eye on them as they can easily burn, and each oven is different. Once golden, or to your liking, remove and let cool. Place in Tupperware or a tin. Enjoy! Let me know how they turned out for you!
To your wholistic health!
